CFLI India 2025: Empowering Local Change Through Grassroots Impact

Big change often begins with small, powerful ideas—and the Government of Canada, through the High Commission of Canada to India, is supporting exactly that.
The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) is now accepting proposals from local NGOs, civil society groups, and grassroots institutions in India for high-impact, community-led projects that promote economic inclusion, gender equality, climate action, and inclusive governance.
This is more than just funding. It’s a partnership for sustainable progress, aligned with Canada’s international development priorities. Whether it’s empowering women entrepreneurs, fostering 2SLGBTQI+ inclusion, or promoting climate resilience, CFLI is here to amplify voices and ideas that matter.
