What does India’s journey toward sustainable, inclusive growth look like? At the crossroads of data, policy, and economic transformation, the India Sustainable Growth Hub (ISGH) is looking for answers—and they might just come from you.

Launched by the International Growth Centre (LSE) and CECFEE at ISI Delhi, ISGH’s 2025 Call for Research Proposals is now open. This initiative is more than just a grant—it’s a powerful platform to generate high-impact, policy-relevant research that supports India’s climate resilience, economic productivity, and urban sustainability.

What Are They Looking For?
If your work explores energy, environment, climate policy, state capacity, urban development, or the macroeconomics of climate change—with a strong economic lens—this is your moment.

Grants are available in two categories:

  •  Full Research Grants: Up to £40,000
  •  Small Research Grants: Up to £15,000

ISGH values rigor, relevance, and local grounding—ideal for researchers eager to bridge academic insight with real-world policy action.

Who Can Apply?

  • Indian-based Principal Investigators (PhD holders or candidates)
  • Affiliated with academic institutions, think tanks, NGOs, or policy bodies
  • Strong economic grounding and alignment with India’s growth priorities
  • Must be hosted by a registered Indian institution
